汪南平 教授:

博士生导师（生理学）。北京大学心血管研究所副所长、糖尿病中心副主任。1986年西安医科大学毕业（医学硕士）。1989年获笹川医学奖学金赴日本北里大学医学部从事自身免疫病研究；1994年北京医科大学毕业（医学博士）。1994年至1999年先后在德国柏林自由大学 Benjamin Franklin 医学中心、美国印地安那大学及加利福尼亚大学作博士后研究，2000至2003年在主要从事分子免疫学及血管生物学研究；2000年起在加利福尼亚大学UC Riverside（生物医学）和UC San Diego（生物工程学）研究助理教授。主要研究方向为血管分子生物学及生物工程学研究。目前为国家自然科学基金、教育部创新团队基金（子课题）及科技部糖尿病973项目子课题“血管病变在2型糖尿病中的作用机制”负责人。
